Comprehensive FCE
A detailed assessment of a workers abilities and limitations with regard to the critical physical demands of their job.
For this assessment we use The Blankenship SystemTM which allows us to measure the consistency of effort through a validity profile and a behavioural profile whilst performing a job specific assessment. This measurement of compliance can be particularly useful when a worker is not fully cooperating with their rehabilitation.
The Comprehensice FCE includes:
- a full range of repetitive movements
- clinical tests specific to the patient's injury area
- range of movement tests
- muscle strength tests
- static strength tests in standardised NIOSH postures;
- inclinometry and goniometry with a digital inclinometer
- dynamic lifting protocols and constant circuit tests
- validity profile and behavioral profile incorporating Korben's and Waddells non organic signs.
