Physiotherapy

Our experienced team of physiotherapists can treat an injured worker or simply assess them and give you appropriate advice on the progress of a worker's injury.  We only hire experienced physiotherapists so you can be sure they will be getting best practice care.

Gym based exercise programme

Often when injuries take some time to heal, there is some muscle wastage and muscle imbalance that results.  This can hamper a persons ability to return to the functional ability they had prior to their injury.  When deemed appropriate, our team of physiotherapists can set up and guide an injured patient through a structured gym based exercise program to address these weaknesses and imbalances.  With reliable measurements before and after the program we are able to evaluate how effective it has been. We are happy to set the program up at a gym convenient for the worker.

Acupuncture

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) acupuncture has been around for over 2'000 years.  As physiotherapists we are not able to practice this eastern medicine technique, but we are able to practice a western medicine version - Dry Needling.  Many of our physiotherapists are trained in the use of dry needles and regularly use it as an effective tool in the treatment of musculo-skeletal injuries.  It is not as scary as it sounds,  The needles used are extremely fine and barely leave a mark on your skin afterward. Our experienced physiotherapists will let you know if it is appropriate for your injury.
