Strong Spine System™ manual handling training

The Strong Spine System™ is a proven effective coaching method that was first developed by Kingsley Flett over 15 years ago and has continued to evolve into its current form. The patented Strong Spine System™  gives workers all the skills they need to lower their personal injury risk.

The Strong Spine System manual handling training includes:

  • information on how to assess a task for manual handling risk
  • lessons on how to assess personal injury risk
  • coaching on lifting and other common manual handling techniques
  • core strength education
  • preventative exercises
  • recovery exercises.

All of our physiotherapists are accredited Strong Spine Trainers and the sessions they conduct are in many ways the antithesis of most manual handling training; participants rarely sit still and are instead engaged in a series of physical skill progressions – much like the coaching process you see in sport, to learn the most practical injury prevention behaviours.
